God’s Good morning to all of us! And, a happy day to you from the Lord!  I am sure I can speak for Dewey on one point, we are all glad that you have chosen to join us here @ FGGAM! Yes, today’s message is about choices!  Dewey made a choice all those years ago to walk away from one job to pursue by faith this ministry, now called For God’s Glory Alone Ministries.  About the same time, the Lord was guiding my choices; and according to this into Scripture:
 Proverbs 16:3 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Leading into this Devotion, the Lord gave me a dream many years ago of a woman who was pacing frantically in front of the fence that lines our subdivision road.  In the dream, I saw her; and asked her if there was something she needed.  She replied, “I am trying to get over there!”  She pointed to the other side of the fence, where she saw the pasture, which represented peace and rest; and a place to breath well.  I looked at her; and for me it was easy, because I knew, but for her it was not simple…
I said, “Why don’t you just use the gate?”
Friends, that red gate was not hiding; and neither is Jesus.  The gate represented Jesus in the dream, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life!  We can’t go into the pasture with God any other way!  We can’t go through the fence; nor over it; and not under it.  The Gate is the Way and it is open!
But the Gate is the Narrow Way.
Which will we choose; the way of meekness is powerful!  When, instead of hiding from pain, we face it, feel it, endure it; and become so connected to LIFE with God to understand what it is to be a part of it; instead of pretending like we can avoid the cross we are called to carry somehow…
We are a part of life; not the center of it.  Embrace Meekness and follow the Flashlight God shines.

Discover the power in your Choices for Happiness & Peace. The Narrow Gate is JESUS! Enter with God to experience LIFE to the Full.
The Lord said to me this morning, “Now get up & go! Still, and I had a choice! The Lord said to me, “Write about choices & Write about the paths.” How appropriate is this Scripture Today!

The Lord said, “Write about the Wide path & the choice to take the narrow path.” And, still I had a choice.

This is the narrow path to sacrifice sleep to walk by faith. How quick we follow is a choice too. Get up immediately & here is the picture God gave me to write for you.

I saw a deer thru the window as I brushed my teeth. An amazing sight to appreciate on the narrow path with God! As I squinted my barely open eyes, I saw another deer jump over the fence and into our back yard. Such grace, power & poise that for a deer, it is easy to clear a fence like it is not even there.

& How about those temptations that take you to a place of guilt? Wide is the gate and many enter. But how about you? In Christ, we are the ones who are supposed to be different!

The Narrow path is a walk with God that constantly requires asking God, Is this the Right Choice & Praying, Lord keep me on your path!

There is a flash light from God that in the evening walks with Him you can see! A breath of fresh air under a beam that glows thru the forest trees! The wings of flying insects light up with a glow. You see them on the other side of the fence, but somehow you know, they are not there to bother you.

The path is a choice! Which will you choose?
The Narrow Way is difficult, humble, meek & kind; It leads to happiness. Yet to choose to pursue self-will lead to the end. But, Today still has a choice to pray and turn around, seek& follow life, wellness & pursue God who endows us to understand.

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
Matthew 7:13‭-‬14 NLT

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT
