Israel Praises Trump Announcement on Iran Nuclear Deal

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was among the first world leaders to respond Tuesday evening to the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US will withdraw from the JCPOA nuclear deal with Iran and immediately re-impose sanctions on the Islamic Republic over its renegade nuclear program. “Israel fully supports President Trump’s bold decision today to reject the disastrous nuclear deal with the terrorist regime in Tehran,” Netanyahu said.

Iranian Military Sites in Syria Struck Overnight

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew to Moscow Wednesday morning for an urgent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, telling reporters “In light of what is currently happening in Syria, it is necessary to ensure the continued coordination between the Russian military and the IDF.” The remarks came hours after several military installations in Syria believed to be crewed by Iranian military personnel were hit by missiles from an unidentified source and the Defense Ministry ordered public bomb shelters in the Golan Heights to be opened and military units in the north to be placed on maximum alert.

Major Summit of Young Professionals in Israel

The effort to Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) Israel suffered another defeat this week when nearly 800 young professionals from around the world arrived to participate in the first-ever Under-30 Summit Global, sponsored by Forbesmagazine. “We recognize that there is only one global economy and these are people who don’t see borders, they see opportunities,” Randall Lane, Chief Content Officer at Forbes, told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.

Israel Blesses China

The Research and Development Center for the Middle and Northern areas of Arava announced an agreement on Tuesday with Beijing-based Eisenberg Agri Company to export Israeli-developed agricultural technology to China to help that country feed its massive population. The technology, which assists farmers increase crop yields in dry, arid conditions, has allowed Israel to become a food export powerhouse despite more than half its territory being desert.

PLO Official Promises ‘Day of Rage’ on 14 May

Senior PLO official Ahmad Majdalani announced on Tuesday that 14 May, the 70th anniversary of the declaration of Independence for the modern Jewish State according to the Gregorian calendar and the day that the new US Embassy is scheduled to be dedicated in Jerusalem, will be a “day of rage” for the Palestinian population in the West Bank, eastern Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. “Our people will express their rejection of relocating the embassy to occupied Jerusalem,” he added.

President Trump has chosen not to ignore the Iranian regime’s development of long-range ballistic missiles that only makes sense if armed with atomic warheads. He is not ignoring the strategic and moral absurdity that monies delivered to Iran under the deal abet Tehran’s imperialism, especially its savage campaign in Syria, which has now claimed hundreds of thousands of lives.
