Good morning! Let’s come together and pray for marriages. It’s one of the areas the enemy likes to attack to bring divisions into families, which is the central core of our societies.
Today, we pray for marriages, Father. We pray that Wives submit to their husbands, as to the Lord. That Husbands, love their wives, as Christ loved the church and not dictate to their wives. That Husbands love their wives as themselves and wives respect their husbands. (Taken From Ephesians 5:22, 25, 33)
We ask for Your Divine Intervention, Father, that You would bring love and unity into marriages. We ask that You would guide husbands/fathers and wives/mothers to be the example You would expect them to be. We know that Your Plan for families starts with them being committed to You first and in their marriages, The Way You Planned.
We pray that You would work on the hearts of husbands/fathers, to show love to their wives in the right way. We pray that You would work in their hearts to not be quick to anger and/or abusive. We pray that You would lead them to be the Spiritual Leaders in their homes. Please, use them to be the examples they need to be.
We lift up wives/mothers up to You. We pray that You would help them to show the respect to their husbands that they need to show. We ask You to help them encourage their husbands to be the Spiritual Leaders they need to be. We ask You to help the wives/mothers to set the example of love You want them to be.
We ask that You would help these couples to be the helpmates, they are called to be, to each other. We ask You would help them to build each other up. We pray that through working on marriages, that repentance would happen in all of our societies.
Thank You for loving us. Thank You for setting The Example of Love. Thank You for being patient with us.
