Here is a post from last week from our Dear, Dear friend, Pastor Brian Alarid:
I want to invite you and your family to join us at Convoy of Hope Albuquerque. It is a historic event for our community.
Convoy of Hope is a free community event on Saturday 10 am to 3 pm, June 23 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. We are partnering with over 100 businesses, churches, community organizations, and government agencies to bless the community of Albuquerque with $1 million worth of goods and services. We expect to serve 8,000-10,000 guests.
We will be providing 80,000 pounds of groceries, free lunch, haircuts, family portraits, children’s shoes, health services, veterans services, job and career services, and a kids play area. No identification or proof of income required.
June 23 is officially CONVOY OF HOPE day for both the city of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico. I am grateful to Governor Martinez and Mayor Keller for signing official proclamations recognizing the importance and impact of Convoy of Hope Albuquerque on our community and state.
