Good Morning Dear Friends and Readers @ FGGAM,
Dewey asked me if I could write a Father’s Day Post. My reply was simply, yes; a father’s day post can always be inspired, because who is a Father?
Friends, if we get this, we will never be the same!
Who is a father to you? Are you a father? Are you a good father? The father you know in your life; is he a dad, a husband, or … God? Do they represent God? What is their character like? Were / Are they good to you? Did / Do they set high values in you? Did / Do they love you well? Love is both discipline and kindness, but again, in this broken and sick world, even discipline as been taken to the extreme of misunderstanding the love in correcting us to get to where we have never been before for our good.
My dad stopped bad character traits in me, as he saw them sprouting! I am grateful to my dad! My Father God does the same! I am grateful to be loved by God. I always pray, Lord, let me just feel the brush of the wind from your hand and the whisper of your voice, because I want to learn the easy way. I love the life God gives; and HE protects me!!! This is a good Father.
This will be hard to hear, but maybe this is for you? Yesterday, I met someone who was raped by her dad and grandfather; and by the sperm donor for her child, who told her she deserved it all. This is NOT what God would do. This is NOT what a good father would do. This is NOT what a good man of God would do. Men of God protect & love with gentleness, patience and kindness, because they are strong in the spirit to treat us well -even when we may be not be acting perfect in our behavior. So, it is not your fault – The Holy Spirit just told me to tell you that! It is not your fault that someone treats you bad. And it is NOT God’s fault either. God is here today to paint another picture for you of what God created to be pure and good. The world has made dirty, what God has made beautiful.
Someone needs to know that it is not your fault; and it is not who you are! God wants you to come to know and believe in the love God has for you; that God so loved the world (yes, forgiveness is a must by the power of God alone) that he gave His only begotten Son, for you, because He loved us too much to loose us to death! Sin hurt God so much, because sin stole our life. Loosing us to death hurt God so much that He gave everything HE had to bring us back to LIFE to live with Him forevermore! And, through Jesus, He gave us the choice to come back into a relationship with Him; and come to know and believe in the love God has for us! Jesus gave us His Father to be our Father!!!
Confusion is from Satan. And, anyone not born of God is capable of raging sin. It is because of the spirit of sin that rages in a hearts that are not filled with God, but filled with dichotomy (opposite) of the love of God. Yet, because of whom God is, lies ahead, the HOPE of repentance and Born-Again Spiritual Transformation; … as only God knows; … so who are we to judge the heart; yet we can see the character to distinguish sin is not of God. Jesus come to save the sick; not the healthy. So will you join me in praying for the lost? As we pray for your restoration and healing …
Because of Whom my Father is, God who art in Heaven, I will focus on HOPE in Jesus Christ for you! Who has been defined to you as a father to you? and do they represent God? God desires to be your good, good Father, but I do believe that even the word, “Father” has been tainted in this world to misrepresent whom God is.
Who is God to you? Do you know Him as your Father?
And, Just Because a man goes to church … You can know a child of God by the fruit they bare! If a Peach Tree produced oranges, is it really a Peach Tree? Or, an Orange Tree? Know the character of God by the Fruit of the behaviors.
I can only say, that all men are NOT bad. Men of God; and good men of good courage are still in this world! Don’t accept less! Your worth is not defined by any man on this planet. Yet, a good father will parent you in love to be the best you can be; and confident and strong in your worth to God, as well as to the world as you grow to represent Christ yourself.
The Holy Spirit is not male / nor female; neither is The Holy Spirit black or white; He is God! As you read this devotion prepared for you today, know this. You are loved by God!
John 3:16 says, For God so loved you (the world) & yes, we all need Jesus!
John 3:17 & 1 John 4:16 says (emphasis mine), For Jesus did not come to the world to condemn sinners, but to claim us back to our Father; and set sin apart from those whom come to know and believe in the love God has for them.
Forgiveness is a part … in fact; everything. To be set free, we must discover the spiritual freedoms in Christ and grow in them.
I hope and pray this devotion is a blessing to you. And, in case no one has ever told you: My Father God in Heaven, whom lives in me has a Father’s Day message for you! No matter who you are; or what you have done;
You are immensely and incredibly valuable to God!
Much love and prayers in Christ,
Karen

Have You Ever Wondered What Your Purpose Is? By Karen Rowe
Have you ever wondered what your purpose is?
Sometimes we believe lies about God. God is not complicated; nor is He complicating our life.
God is God! Yes, God is beyond our limited human understanding, But God actually wants us to know Him!
“Look, God is greater than we can understand. His years cannot be counted.
Job 36:26 NLT
Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT
This is God’s will for us! To be Joyful & never stop praying & to be thankful in ALL circumstances…For if we belong to Christ Jesus we CAN Know God! God actually wants us to accept His hand & have a relationship with Him! And to grow in our trust in God with every opportunity God allow for us to grow!
Our purpose in this life is the answer God’s call on our life to live IN the joy & peace Jesus died to give us; …Friends, with God all things are possible! But, who are we? Our pupose is to discover God as the center of who we are! Thanks to Jesus, who is the Christ, the Son of the Living God!
If I could enlighten one thing, Test every spirit to know if it is from God. Mouths say a lot, but train yourself in Christ to Trust the Spirit of God that you come to KNOW as PEACE & JOY! If The Spirit of Peace & Joy is missing, be careful to test the spirit.
If God opens a door, I don’t want to miss walking through; BUT If God is not in it, I don’t want to be a part of it!
God has called me to be a teacher of these spiritual matters. Finally I understand why I had to grow in my understanding through adversities to get understanding! I pray I minister well by the Holy Spirit.
How was this for you? I hope this is a blessing to you & I encourage you to read 1John 4, Job 36, Colossians 1.
If we get this, we will never be the same! God loves us & wants us to know Him, so we can say, For we have come to know & believe in the love God has for us. God is love…and he who abides in love, abides in God & God in him.
Love in Christ,
Karen Rowe
