What Are You Willing To Give Up?

Good morning beautiful people. Recently a friend and I were talking about what we were willing to give up to follow Jesus. She lives in a beautiful home and I asked her if she was willing to give it up to follow Him, if He asked. She loves the Lord, but said she was unsure if she could do that.
I don’t know what He will ask each of us to surrender, but He does say take up our cross and follow Him. It will cost us. Let’s hope we will have the grace to surrender whatever He asks. Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for the grace to give you full control of our lives. You don’t want just a part of our lives, you want all of it. You will take our fully surrendered hearts and bring about the plan and the destiny you have predestined for us. We give you thanks.
Father, we pray every church, every meeting place, every Christian would surrender full control to you and the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, get us out of the way, so You can have Your way. Take full control of our lives, we pray.
Oh, Heavenly Father you know what is best for us. You know the plans you have for each of us, the purpose we were destined to fulfill. As we surrender to your will and to your way, your plan unfolds, step by step for our lives, one step at a time. Thank you for the master plan.
Today, we just want to say once again, oh God, we give you full control, we surrender all. (Can you honestly say that?) Every plan, every dream, every desire, every relationship, every possession, we surrender all. Do with our lives as you will. Your plan is our hearts desire. We will continue to keep our eyes looking up as you lead us. Unfold your will God for our lives, we pray. Amen
