Are You Empty Handed But Alive?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Are you feeling a little empty handed this morning and don’t know where to turn? You can always cry out to God for help and He will send you help from on high. He will give you a thought, send someone to help you or speak the answer to you through His Word. One thing for sure is that He hears you when you call. (Jeremiah 31:3)
I remember living in an apartment for a season and had nothing. Empty handed was certainly putting it mildly. What I did have though was a relationship with Jesus Christ and that was more than enough. He made a way for me. I remember the green beans and new potatoes He sent me from a neighbor when I had no food. I learned to take everything to my Heavenly Father during that time in my life. I would never trade this trial, as it drew me closer to the man the created me.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:2-4)
Father, thank you for being our God and we your people. You take us in just as we are. You are no respecter of persons. We are all equal at the foot of the cross. Empty handed people are the best receivers. So many depend on themselves and have no need for God to do much. They run to their provider whomever that is (mother, father, sister, brother) and have no need of you, God. Draw them today good Father.
Father, take empty hands all across this globe and fill them with the blessings of God. You said in Deuteronomy 28 blessings for obedience. Let it be so, for your glory alone Jesus. Amen
