When we spend time meditating on The Word Of God, we grow in understanding and wisdom. We learn more of what He hopes for in our lives. We grow closer to Him.
Meditating on His Word is not meant to be “mysterious” like what psychics would make meditation to be. Instead, it is to take Scripture, a piece at a time, and contemplate what is being said. It is taking it and looking at the things being addressed and asking Him to reveal to you what He wants for you to learn. It is about taking time to research the things that were being addressed during the time it was written so you can have a better understanding.
We need to fill our minds and hearts with Scripture so that it will replace the things of the world.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Strength and my Redeemer. Let Your Words grow in my heart and mind so that I will learn of Your Ways and Desires. (Taken from Psalms 19:14)
I want to Grow with You daily. I want to be Transformed into the new creation You desire me to be. I want to Please You Lord.
Please Remind me to be in Your Word daily. Help me to contemplate what you teach. Let it be evident in my life so that I Glorify you.
Thank You for teaching me. Thank You for Loving me.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
