Have You Been Ransomed?…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. If we were all one hundred percent honest with ourselves, with others and our God we would have to admit we are all in need to be ransomed. What keeps us from accepting that ransom. Is it self sufficiency, pride, arrogance, feelings of inferiority, shame, denial and the list seems endless.

We need to begin every day with the Word of God. We need to begin our day with the man that ransomed us. He paid the price for it all.  The free gift of salvation, cost Him everything and us nothing. Even on my best days, I fall short. His Word tells us that all have fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) All means all.

There are so many things I love about Jesus, but one thing I love is that we are all equal before Him. It doesn’t matter if you have a million dollars in your bank account or it is empty. It doesn’t matter what you have done, or how intelligent you are. At the cross we all come to know God in the same way. It’s all through the blood of Jesus Christ. We don’t earn it, deserve it but because of His great mercy and grace we can receive it.

I know this scripture is shared a lot but it is so true. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. The key word is believe. Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Oh, what a gift!

Father, thank you for ransoming us. The free gift you have given us is priceless. Journeying every day with the man that created us is so amazing. The love you have for us makes us want to know you deeper. Strip away all our religious mindsets, traditions of man and draw us close to you. Reveal truth to us, oh God, show us things today, we didn’t know yesterday.

We want to know you more. We desire to walk in the full inheritance that is ours from the ransom that was paid. Holy Spirit, comforter and friend teach us according to the Word. (John 14:26) Amen

Have a blessed day beautiful people. Have you been ransomed?
