Praise Him And Trust Him Even In The Storm…

Good morning beautiful people. This morning, I was thinking on how easy it is to praise Him when things are going well. However, when life presents challenges and things aren’t going as planned, it is easy to get our eyes on the circumstances of the moment and not keep our eyes fixed on the promises of God. We fail at times to remember His track record. He is a faithful God and He is watching over us. He is a God of love, compassion and mercy.
He doesn’t cause the difficulties in our lives, but praising Him in the storm will bring us through. We can trust the man that laid down His life for us. When difficulties strike us, we need to be like Job 1:20-22 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised. In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.
Father, we praise you and we trust in you and we take you at your Word every day. We know from the prayers you have already answered you are trustworthy. Your promises will come to pass as we put all our trust in you. Your Word does not return void, it is forever settled.
As we journey every day we will keep our eyes lifted to the hills, from whence our help cometh. Psalm 121:1-2. Our help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Amen
