When we walk with Christ, we should be looking to walk away from things that cause us to sin. If we continue to seek those things that make us stumble or even others to stumble, we are then considered carnal. God does not want us to remain in a state that keeps us from being righteous and holy. Instead, when we follow Jesus, it should be something that we become cleansed and desire to be renewed.
What are you seeking today? Who are you truly following? Are you allowing for a renewal in your life or are you still being carnal? Seek Jesus and let Him renew you.
Lord, You have given us a message that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with You, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as You are in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (Taken From 1 John 1:5-7)
Please, guide our paths that we might follow You Truly. Please, give us strength to flee from things that make us and others stumble. Please, renew our hearts and minds. Please show us the Way You would have us go.
We desire to walk in The Light. We desire to be Holy and Righteous. We do not want to be carnal.
Thank You Jesus for making a Way for Us.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
