The greatest benefit of Reading our Bibles daily is The Instruction we receive from it. We learn about God’s Love, His Grace, His Mercy, His Wisdom. We learn about what True Holiness and Righteousness is. We learn about loving others. We learn about how we are not alone when we are hurting. We learn how to turn our lives around. We learn about those who try to deceive us.
Bible study should encourage us to engage in The Kingdom Work. We should take what we learn and apply it to our daily lives and in helping others. It starts with us reading/studying first. Remember though, it is not meant for us to digest and sit, it’s meant for us to meditate and act.
Lord as we seek You today, we seek to apply our hearts to instruction. The Instruction we apply, comes from You. You tell us how to love others and how to change the world. You tell us how to grow in Wisdom with You and see change in our lives.
We also seek to apply our ears to words of knowledge. The Words of Knowledge are spoken by You. We can hear them from You in our daily Prayer and from Your Word. These are things that motivate us to act in accordance to reaching others.
(Taken From Proverbs 23:12)
Please, we ask, forgive us for becoming complacent. We seek for a Holy Spirit Fire in our hearts to enact what you have instructed. We seek an Everlasting Change.
Thank You for giving us Instruction daily. Thank You for not allowing us, who seek You, to sit still.
We pray this In Jesus Name, Amen.
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
