Prayer of Incense By Jeanne Theriault

Psalm 141:2 May my prayer be set before you like incense, the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
I love it whenever I lit a scented candle in my house ,it fills the whole house with an aroma of sweet incense. I believe our prayers are like a sweet incense pleasing to God. Your prayers should always be offered with a sense of reverence and awe before him , with a pure heart that longs to see him, know him and to glorify Him seeking the will of the Father. Your prayers is a fragrant incense to the Lord.
It is important to set a time in prayer spending time with the Father.
God hears your prayers. He listens and respond to you. Without communicating with him, how can you expect to receive.
Matthew 7:7 Ask it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives he who seeks finds and to him who knocks the door will be opened.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you , whatever you ask for in prayer , believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
He is your hiding place he will protect you from trouble and surround you with songs of deliverance. He will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go (Psalm 32:7-8)
Your prayers builds a personal relationship with God. He knows your name and loves you he knows your needs. He hears and he answers them with wisdom love and compassion.
Psalm 4:3 Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself, the Lord will hear when I call to him.
Psalm 91:15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.
Lord, let our prayers rise up to you like a sweet smelling aroma to your throne pleasing to your heart, we give you reverence and awe for your goodness and mercy and your love. Giving you praise and honor for hearing our prayers. Amen
