Seeing Love Beyond How We Feel, By Karen Rowe

Hope in Today Ministries, Inc. ~ Daily Devotion to God’s Holy Word, by Karen Rowe

Tell them I love them. Jesus said write about God’s love for them. Okay, this should be easy, yet love is so much more that what meets the eye.

Words can go so far, we must show people a reflection of God’s love for them. Yet, in order to be a reflection of the love God has for us, we must learn…How did Jesus show the world God’s love for those in His Path in that day … ?

One day, Jesus faced a specific challenge we can learn from that specifically relates to this Verse Today.

“So the two sisters sent a message to Jesus telling him, “Lord, your dear friend is very sick (John 11:3 NLT).”

“~ although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, he stayed where he was for the next two days (John 11:5‭-‬6).”

IF Jesus would have ran to the rescue of His beloved friend to spare the temporary tear of those He dearly loved, they / we would have missed the eternal message of Christ!

IF JESUS would have been a “Crowd-Pleaser”, He certainly would have rose up & come off that cross a DIFFERENT way, BUT, WE WOULD HAVE missed Everlasting life with God through Christ!

JESUS ENDURED because God so loved the world! JESUS, God’s ONLY BEGOTTEN, come to Get us God’s WAY / The ONLY Way…by the Holy Spirit of working Truth, Jesus is a powerful Name.

Is this good for you? I love hearing how God puts things together for our good & according to the purpose we are called!

Paul wrote, “I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News (Galatians 1:6 NLT).”

Doesn’t the world represent people knowing a lot, but with a need for JESUS & every thing to learn about God’s love for them?

Friend, God has not left, nor forsaken you. You may feel abandoned by Jesus, but God’s Glory is about to be revealed! If Lazarus had not gone through something, how would others have seen him walk out of that grave?

But when Jesus heard about it he said, “Lazarus’s sickness will not end in death. No, it happened for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this.”

Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out! (John 11:4‭, ‬43 NLT)!”
