Xochitl Torres Small has won the southern congressional race. Las Cruces absentee results brings the totals to
Torres Small–99,.435 votes
Herrell–96,711 votes.
50.59% to 49.31%
A wild end to that one.

Elections officials in Dona Ana County will resume counting absentee ballots this morning, with the race for a hotly-contested southern New Mexico-based congressional district, between Republican Yvette Herrell and Democrat Xochitl Torres Small.
