Who do you seek wisdom from? I don’t ask this in a way for you to give me the answer you think I want, this is more of a reflection of who you seriously seek.

Are you seeking wisdom from others through social media, TV, books or other methods? Many who deliver “wisdom” through these methods will lead you astray. I am not saying those who are spreading the Gospel will. I am referring to those who try to “sell” what wisdom they have for their own profit.

God does not sell Wisdom. He gives it to us freely. If you want True Wisdom, seek Him. Ask Him to guide you. Read and study His Word. Put it into practice. See how His Wisdom will grow you.

Lord, You give us Wisdom Daily.

And blessed is the man who does not walks in the counsel of the ungodly. This is one who has wisdom to know that the ungodly will lead him astray. He knows that the ways of the world will lead him to a path of destruction.

He does not stand in the path of sinners. You have shown us that when we follow the ways of sinners, it keeps us separate from You. We no longer want to be separate from You. We want to be in Your Presence daily.

He does not sit in the seat of the scornful. When he does, it makes his heart hard towards others. He learns to find ways to exhort others rather than to tear them apart. Your Desire, in this area, is that we build each other up.

Our delight is instead, in the law of the Lord. This is not so that we can become religious in the sense that we try to please You by trying to keep Your Law, rather, it is so that we learn to be more of who You want us to be.

When we meditate in Your Law, both day and night, we shall become like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither. This is where we start to learn more of The True Fruits of Your Spirit. We learn more to Love others the way You do. We learn to step out in confidence rather then in fear and trembling.

And when we do, whatever we do shall prosper. This is because we learn of Your precepts. We learn more of Your Righteousness.

The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. They refuse to learn Your Ways. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. We will not be the one who delivers their judgment because You will. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Taken From Psalm 1)

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
