(Quick note: We are spending the first 4 weeks of 2019, in prayer, every night at our church, at 5pm. You are invited to join us, 4817 Central NE, Albuquerque.)

We, as human beings, are funny. We have the greatest asset to help us, but, we try to still do things on our own accord. We still try to fix things that seem to be broken, even if we are not meant to.

If we are unable to fix them on our own, we often try to find someone who can. Desperate, we settle to use someone who is not qualified or may not be interested in our problem(s), like we are. We will pay them to solve our problem(s) and find that we are left with a mess.

The Solution is simpler than we realize. If we seek God for Help, He will direct our paths. He may send in someone that we didn’t even realize that could help us better than any we would have thought of. He may even show us how we can solve the problem(s) we are having. The trick is, to seek Him first.

I Turn to You, Lord, because You are able to Help me.

Lord, I will lift up my eyes to the hills because I am in trouble again. I wonder where will my help come from? I mess up and look around me to others who will mislead me or may not even know how to truly help me. I even try to get those who do know how to help me, to take time from their busy schedules to help me, but, I end up pushing them away.

Please forgive me. I need to remember that my help comes from You, Lord. You made heaven and earth. Who, but You, who created all things, would be better to Help me? You provide for all my needs. You have access to things that others do not. You have all Wisdom and can teach me better than any. You will not allow my foot to be moved to any area that would cause me harm.

Because You keep me, You do not slumber. I may be impatient to wait on Your Timing, but, Your Timing is Perfect. You know all things before they come to pass. You who keeps Israel, neither slumbers nor sleeps.

You are my keeper. You Protect me. You are my shade at my right hand. The sun shall not strike me by day, nor the moon by night. I should not fear being struck by them because of Your Covering over me. You preserve me from all evil and preserve my soul. I know that You shall preserve my going out and my coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

Thank You Lord for your Loving Help. In Jesus Name, Amen!

(Taken From Psalm 121:1-8)

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance. If you find yourself in need of prayer and/or encouragement, please, feel free to call or text +1 (505) 600-1027 or email cross66info@gmail.com
