(Quick note: We are spending the first 4 weeks of 2019, in prayer, every night at our church, at 5pm. You are invited to join us, 4817 Central NE, Albuquerque.)

In our families, Jesus needs to be Lord. He needs to reside in our homes and in our relationships with each other. He needs to be The One Who directs our footsteps.

However, we are living in a world today where there seems to be discourse in our homes. Families are not working together as a body. Everyone is still trying to “feel good” and looking out just for themselves instead of learning to love each other.

We need to ask for forgiveness first. Then we need to ask for His Help to come into our homes and bring change in. We need to ask for His Help for our families to learn to love each other and to work together, this includes in our church families as well as our extended families. Let it start by practicing what His Word teaches in all areas of our home.

Let His Love pour into and out of our homes. Let it grow and become something that becomes an example to other families.

Lord, we seek You to Work in our families and homes.

We seek this because we have been raised with Christ. He has brought us Salvation from many things to include our pride and hurts. We are asking for Your Love to pour out into our homes. We pray that Your Love will bring healing and unity. We pray that our families will come together in Your Word and learn together of Who You are.

We seek those things which are above, where He is, sitting at Your Right Hand. We need Help to set our minds on things above, not on things on the earth nor on our selfish desires. We no longer are wanting to make ourselves our primary focus.  We do not want to promote our selfish desires above what You want to happen in our families.

Our old lives have died, and now, our lives are hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then we also will appear with Him in glory. So, we are to put to death our members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which we once walked when we lived in them.

Now we need to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. We are not lie to one another, since we have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

Please, work in our lives, our families and our homes. In Jesus Name, Amen

(Taken From Colossians 3:1-11)

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance. If you find yourself in need of prayer and/or encouragement, please, feel free to call or text +1 (505) 600-1027 or email cross66info@gmail.com
