1John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God because God is love. 16And so we know and rely on the love of God has for us.
1Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.
Psalm 52:8 I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.
Unconditional love does not mean that God loves everything that we do. He loves every sinner so much that he provides a way for them to find love, life and holiness
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God requires the same from us to love and serve one another John 15:12 My command is this love each other as I have loved you.
God’s love motivates his compassion and mercy into our lives. Its love in action it brings transformation into our lives. Love requires having a relationship with him.
1 John 4:16 And we know and rely on the love God has for us. To love in God is to live in love for God is love. How do you respond to people that mistreat you? The bible says we are to live in peace with our enemies and love them, pray for them ,and bless them. We need to reach out to those who have hurt us with kindness, in so doing we will overcome evil with good.
Proverbs 25:21 If your enemy is hungry give him food to eat if he is thirsty give him water to drink 22 In doing this you will heap burning coals on his head and the Lord will reward you.
Matthew 7:12 So in everything do to others what you would have them do to you.
Romans 12:17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.18 If it is possible as far as it depends on you live in peace with everyone.
Colossians 3:12 Therefore as God’s chosen people holy and dearly loved clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love which binds them all together in perfect unity. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.
Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil, cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Romans 15:7 Accept one another, then just as Christ accepted you in order to bring praise to God.
1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Love never fails!
Thank you Lord for your ever lasting love.
Help us to walk in your perfect love to reach out to others . Help us to remember that we are able to love only because you first loved us. Thank you that your perfect love cast out all fear. Allow your love to flow through us and let us be an example to others so that they shall know you by our love. In Jesus name Amen
