The first day of 2019 is here! Time for a fresh start right? For years I talked on KKIM Christian Radio, New Mexico News and Views and Christian TV KAZQ, Dewey and Friends, and a weekly news report. Hall-of-Fame Broadcaster Frank Haley brings news from a Christian perspective on KDAZ Radio weekday mornings, other than that, FGGAM and Frank are it now in ABQ. A FGGAM supporter was encouraging me last week to do more news. I am praying on how best to do that is. People tell me they miss the “old KKIM.” I left almost 7 years ago now! People really touch my heart. We do our very best, to report from a Biblical perspective, through a Biblical lens. I have lived here since 1995. I have seen the horrific growth of satanic crimes in the city. Now we have two boys that have been murdered. Be in prayer for Albuquerque and New Mexico. I know I repeat myself, but the truth never changes…JESUS is the answer!
Why is the World full of evil?
“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.
The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.
Repentance, seeking the face of Jesus and Revival is needed. Hearts need to be changed for Jesus Christ. You see New Mexico as well as America has a heart issue. Hearts have become harden, hard as rock.
Just about 1 in 3 people in America go to Church. Less than 50% of the homes in America have a Bible in them.

I am very encouraged with the work the Mayor has done in such a short time and very thankful he hired Mike Mike Geier as Police Chief. Progress is being made, however, the most important thing is that people need to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Look at the awful mess in D.C. I have never seen our government in such chaos. This is not a political issue it is a JESUS issue! The Republicans and Democrats have made a mess and they will not take responsibility for the mess, they just blame each other, such dysfunctional behavior from both parties.
Politics is destroying America.
I so much appreciate how the Mayor points out there is a lot of work to do in Albuquerque. We cannot celebrate a bit of a decrease in crime, when two boys have just been murdered.

A Prayer for the New Year
So we see others’ faults through the eyes of You.
Teach us to judge not with hasty tongue,
Neither the adult … nor the young.
Give us patience and grace to endure
And a stronger faith so we feel secure.
Instead of remembering, help us forget
The irritations that caused us to fret.
Freely forgiving for some offense
And finding each day a rich recompense.
In offering a friendly, helping hand
And trying in all ways to understand;
That all of us whoever we are …
Are trying to reach an unreachable star.
For the great and small … the good and bad,
The young and old … the sad and glad
Are asking today; Is life worth living?
The answer is only in, loving and giving.
For only Love can make man kind
And Kindness of Heart brings Peace of Mind.
