Proverbs 16:9, A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
Pictured at the bottom of this post is a pipe filled with a layer of water. The water cooled the pipe that prevented the solder from melting, which is the bond between the two metals. The water prevented the bond from melting, even to the extreme heat of the torch! I will leave this open to think about, because I see it two ways. The Water in the pipe was both a inconvenience, interruption, and a trouble to us, but also, has developed into a wonderful lesson for us.
The Word of God, Jesus, is the bond between us and God; and His Name is Jesus. To Mediate on The Word of God, is to apply God’s Way, Truth; and Integrity (HIS consistency) to our everyday Life’s situations in how will we respond to the trouble. His Roots will develop Jesus in us; that will help carry us through life’s every difficult situations.

What is it to live a quiet life?
This is what I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me this morning as I am making my plans for 2019.
I am reminded of a time I took our kids to pick strawberries. I really didn’t think we had time, I had to make time, so I said let’s Go!
I didn’t have pockets that day, because … so I folded a $ Bill in my hand & carried the key in my hand.
Who can just watch? MY PLAN! but the Lord directs our steps to learn something more about us & about Him. The money slipped out of my hand, but I saw it! Even realized I needed to make a stronger effort to not loose again.
After we paid, I discovered the key to the car had slipped out of hand picking strawberries & was missing somewhere in a row that was not marked!
It was on a brown leather key ring, which blended well with the earth! MANY people spread out looking under the lush vines & the kids made sounds of joy, as a game had arisen and a challenge was before us!
Sadly, the only key to get home was the only key to that car. AND as the under the vines were searched, no key could be found.
About to surrender, to next year’s plow, I prayed quietly, Lord you know where it is, please reveal that place to me. I lifted the vine & it was right there waiting on me to find it!
I jumped to my feet, key in hand & loudly proclaimed, Praise the LORD! I found it! Everyone rejoiced & a pink flag was tied to that Brown key chain as to never loose it in their farm again!
I am growing to see how quietly in our heart we pray & how God keeps us in step with two things.
Do not Boast about it; or deny the Truth.
I always viewed that Boast a little differently, but as I enter 2019, I see it more TO live our lives more quietly, AND let the boasting be the Praise to the Lord from our heart that leaps — Not from our human evaluation …
Friends, my husband teaches me, people listen more from what you do; than from what you say. I hope this devotion inspired you Today.
As for me, my goal in 2019 is to live more quietly. May our hearts be what people see & may Jesus be directing our paths. And IF asked, always be willing to give a defense for the HOPE of Whom is living inside you! JESUS

IF YOU ARE WONDERING IF THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU? THEN, THE ANSWER IS YES! THIS MESSAGE IS FOR YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE SEEKING TO LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF JESUS, WHO IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD!
In Closing, there is so much here, yet the final thought the Spirit of the Lord is impressing on my heart of Jesus to say is this … Forgiveness leaves no room in our heart for revenge / nor ill-thoughts toward that person, because something Miraculous happens in Christ! Grace floods our heart!!! Forgiveness comes in us like a flood of living warm oil that frees a soul to let goof any control that UNforgiveness can have over us, a place Satan can steal our Peace, if we are unWise to what is really going on. The Holy Spirit we allow / LET control our heart is vital to our freedoms in Christ. God will give you a method, if need be to Reconcile Peace between believers. But, as far as unbelievers, they must first come to Christ to understand what forgiveness is all about. Release that forgiveness in the rightful Hand of Jesus, where there is nothing left for us to forgive, because Forgiveness has come for whosoever might believe.
Stay Blessed my Friends! Love in Christ is Powerful!
If you don’t know Jesus like this, Come! Come to the ONE who died for your sins, because God desires for you to come home to be with Him! Yes, my friend, there is forgiveness, grace and HOPE! Won’t you receive the Grace Jesus left for you? Peace, Joy, Freedom from sin and when you Receive this, you will never be the same! And, when you Come, STAY! Jesus loves you! We are praying for you; and when you come, please pray for us as well! There is more than what you see in front of you! Look up to the Heaven’s and know God has known you since BEFORE you were even born! God loved you and knew the choices you would make! Jesus loved you, because you needed His Love So … Now, all that is left, is for you to come and receive the Mercy and Grace that God has waiting for you. Believe in your heart that Jesus is Raised from the Dead; and Confess with your mouth, Jesus is your Lord. God will hear you no matter how you say it, because God looks at and knows the value of your heart!
Jesus battled through Sin and Death to bring us Life and Blessings with Victory OVER all these things through Christ whom gives us strength.
