Good morning beautiful people. Today I wanted to pen about something I shared with a friend recently. He was upset about the choices (sins) of another individual. I listened and prayed for the situation. Then I told my friend to take a jar and every time he heard or saw her sin, put a dollar in the jar. Then have a second jar and when he sinned to only put a quarter in. He only had to put a quarter in his jar because God loved Him so much more. Hmmm…Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that you have redeemed us by the blood of Jesus Christ. You paid the price. Sin is costly, poor decisions as well, but your blood covers it all. We have been redeemed. Father, help us to remember to pray for people that may be losing their way, that may be caught in a web of deception. Help us never to forget how much we have been forgiven.
Father, you tell us in Matthew 7:1-3 Do not judge, or you will be judged. For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?
Father, at the cross you paid the price and with repentance you cleanse all sin. Our jars can be empty today because of the precious blood of Jesus Christ. The blood is enough. Amen
