How to you feel about this? My trust is low that our tax dollars will be spent wisely. My goodness! $7 billion of our dollars!!!!!! So far, the majority of the folks in the legislature vote to kill babies and now this. We should pause now and reflect. Where are we going? The majority of the legislature is being very foolish. Where are the stewards?

They are foolish to depend so much on oil and gas money. Whatever happened to diversifying our economy?

Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:2

And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? Luke 16:12

New Mexico must repent for killing God’s babies and being the abortion Capital. God will not bless this sinful state. New Mexico is putting its faith in money, not God Almighty! God sets the standard, not man. When will New Mexico learn?

Here’s why the temptation to yield to temptation is especially tempting in our culture.

Our post-Christian, relativistic society has jettisoned the concept of absolute truth and morality. In such a worldview, “sin” is a subjective idea rather than an objective reality.

What the Bible calls a “baby” (as when Elizabeth’s “baby leaped in her womb,” Luke 1:41), Planned Parenthood calls a “product of conception.” What the Bible calls “men committing shameless acts with men” (Romans 1:27), our culture calls “marriage equality.”

As a result, sins are no longer objectively sinful. It’s easier for Satan to tempt us to sin if we don’t believe in sin.

If you think you’re getting away with sin, you’re not. The enemy might be waiting until you climb further up the ladder so that your fall will hurt even more people as you plummet down.

“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19) is a present-tense imperative, an ongoing command for each of us.

Is it relevant for you today? From Dr. Jim Denison

When we look back in a year nothing will have changed for the better in New Mexico because of all this spending, conditions will only get worse for the common folk like you and me. ABQ Journal Report

We are in prayer about this situation. Pastor David Schumm of the Glenwood, New Mexico First Baptist Church is a miner whose job is at risk because of this legislation at the Roundhouse. I talked to David the other day as I will be filling in for him in June and he mentioned his concern about the future of the mines.

KOB TV reports from Silver City: Hundreds of mine workers came to voice their concerns over HB 220 and HB 255 to the Grant County Commission on Thursday morning.

So very sad about this news……..The dairy industry is huge in the Clovis, New Mexico area! We are in prayer over this entire situation….We are on the look out for issues that effect God’s people and His creation.

Art Schaap, owner of Highland Dairy in Clovis, New Mexico is facing a unique kind of devastation. He’s dumping 15,000 gallons of milk each day, had to let his 40 employees go and plans to kill all 4,000 of his cows because seven of his 13 wells have been contaminated by toxins that entered the groundwater at nearby Cannon Air Force base.
