Our Lord said that the best way we can demonstrate that we follow Him is by loving each other. This is not a conditional love He is telling us but unconditionally loving each other. It is not a love that promotes enablement of sins but a love that comes and helps us to grow together in Righteousness. It is a type of love that shows compassion hen someone is hurting. It is a type of love that shows joy when one is going through a time of excitement. It is a love that shows we will walk with each other through thick and thin.
Are we showing this love to each other today?
Oh Lord, You want for us to Love Each Other…
You gave a new commandment, that we are to love one another, just as You have loved us. You wanted for us to also love one another. By doing this all will know that we are Your disciples, if we have love for one another. We ask You to teach us to Love others. We ask for Your Help to Love without conditions. We are struggle hard to understand how to do this, this is why we ask You for Your Help to do this. Please, forgive us in how we fall short in showing others this Love You ask us to show. Thank You for being an example of Love. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen. (Taken From John 13:34-35)
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
