There will be a day when we no longer have to run this race. Until that time, we need endurance to continue. Are you asking Him for Strength and Endurance to finish?
Lord, we are asking for Endurance from You…
Those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize. Your Race for us, however, will reward us with different types of prizes than what we would receive here. We want to run in such a way that we may obtain then. Our hope is that they are results from Helping others to know You. Everyone who competes for the prize, of the races here, is temperate in all things. It is because they do it to obtain a perishable crown. We want to run Your Race for an imperishable crown. We are asking for Your Help to run this race without uncertainty. This fight, will not be like coming from one who beats in the air, but it is one where we discipline our bodies and bring them into subjection, lest, when we have preached to others, we ourselves should become disqualified. Thank You Lord for giving us Strength and Endurance to continue. In Jesus Name, Amen. (Taken From 1 Corinthians 9:24-27)
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.
We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
