A majority of Californians are wanting to leave the Golden State due to prohibitive taxes, property values and a general feeling of they’ve ruined this state time to move on to the next one.
The thing is that they will only bring the same policies to whatever state they choose. Amazon has had enough of leftist politicians demonizing them for getting the best economic environment they can while bringing jobs and a boost to whatever economy they join, so they are taking their marbles somewhere else.
It also turns out that the Laffer curve is a real thing. When President Trump led congress to cut taxes it actually caused record tax revenues for the federal government because if you let people keep more of the money they earn, they can earn more money that will be taxed.
