Where are the Bold Ones?

“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” (Ezekiel 22:30)

Perhaps more than any other time in history Satan has America severely divided among her people!   His influence is seen and felt fueling hate in an alarming rate.   It appears that everyone openly hates everyone else. It has become the exact opposite of “love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

The evil one has the American people divided politically, religiously, morally, and racially. We have always had our differences along some of these lines, but the hatred has grown to a point we will not survive if God does not intervene to rescue us from us!

How low have we sunk when our strongest arguments are over the right to kill babies, the right to promote the vilest of sexual perversions upon the surviving children in the early stages of their development, and the need and right to protect and defend our borders? It is apparent that our news media are largely bought by opposing worldly financiers to share their bias on every news item in an attempt to brainwash and promote maximum hate. And beloved, it is working to a large degree.

There are still many, many good people in America. I still love America. But the good people are sleepily accepting the gradual increase in water temperature moving to the boil. Do not be the frog in the pot!

I am heartbroken over the apparent worldliness and laziness of the western church in these days, marked by the toleration of sin within and without her walls; prayerlessness, save that of maintenance and routine.  By and large, the prayer meetings no longer display the power to break the devils strongholds over man.

“And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” (Matthew 21:13)
____
“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
(Acts 2:42-47)
____
“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” (Acts 4:31)
____
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
(Hebrews 10:23-25)

____

“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Beloved, we cannot schedule repentance and submission, we must hunger for it; seek His face!

Church, “awaken thou that sleepeth.”  Be a Bold One! Be the Storm! Pray On!
