Lord, we seek to grow in You…
So, for this very reason, giving all diligence, we add to our faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. Because if these things are ours and abound, we will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We desire to know You more. We desire to grow closer to You. It is he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. We don’t want to go back to the old life. Therefore, we need to be even more diligent to make our call and election sure, for if we do these things we will never stumble. We want our walks to be in Your Direction and Your Lead. It is the entrance that will be supplied to us abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank You for giving us access into Heaven. Thank You for Showing us the way. In Jesus Name, Amen (Taken From 2 Peter 1:5-11)
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it. We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already.
