Lord, as saints, we should not go before the world to settle disputes.
We as saints will judge the world, with You when it is time. So if the world will be judged by us, we should be worthy to judge the smallest matters. You have told us that we will judge angels, too. That means that it also pertains of matters to this life. If then we have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, we don’t appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge, because it is to our shame. You have given us plenty of wise men among us, that even one will be able to judge between his brethren. Unfortunately, brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers! This is not Your Way for us. Therefore, it is already an utter failure for us that we go to law against one another. You have taught us to accept wrong from each other. It is actually better for us to be cheated, then to go into worldly courts. Even we, ourselves, do wrong and cheat, and we do these things to our brethren! We need Your Help to not only be able to judge in matters amongst ourselves, but to also not to cheat each other or to wrong each other. We want to make things right, according to Your Word. Please, forgive us for the wrongs we have done to each other and for not taking these matters to you instead of the courts. In Jesus Name, Amen. (Taken From 1 Corinthians 6:1-8)
