This morning we have another awesome message from our Dear Sister in Christ Connie Keyohara!
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2 Corinthians 4:7
I was recently asked why God allows suffering and all I could say is that God dwells in the dimension of eternity. His objective is to show us his love and mercy. The Apostle Paul said, “I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Sometimes we have to enter the pain. There is no other way to true joy. Without experiencing pain and hardship, we could never recognize true joy. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 3 Timothy 4:7
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
In this life we will face trials of many kinds, but the key to the hard times is trusting in God because he has all the answers. Sometimes watching the news or reading the newspaper tends to get us down because of all the chaos in this life, but God will see us through.
Trials and hardships are designed to enable us to reach God’s goals for us. It is part of the process of sanctification, being set apart for God’s purposes and fitted to live for His glory. And trusting in him while we wait.
Peace is just ONE of the fruits that mark us as Christians. Jesus said “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” John 14:27
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him” James 1:2
My prayer for you today, is that you would endure under trial.
Many Blessings,
