Honey For The Soul…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday, I sat with an ailing friend and read scripture. You could see the impact the Holy Scriptures had on her. It was nourishment for her soul. God’s Word is so powerful. How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103 NLT No matter how busy our days are, it is a imperative we take time for reading of God’s Word and some time to praise Him. God inhabits the praises of His people. (Psalm 22:3)
When someone is hurting, sick or needs encouragement we should read these life changing verses to them from the Holy Scriptures. God’s Word never returns void. So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11) Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that your Word is powerful. For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12) Refresh us, refill us as we bask in your presence this morning. Your presence is everything in our lives.
Father, thank you that your Word is like honey on our lips. May our day be sweet as we look for you on the journey of our day. Amen
