The ABQ Journal has a report on how organisations in Albuquerque are helping asylum seekers. ABQ Journal Report
My report from April 14th:
The City of Las Cruces needs our help. Yesterday according to CNN affiliate KFOX, 83 more migrants were transported to the Las Cruces, with 61 going to the Community of Hope campus and 22 going to the center. More are expected to arrive, according to KFOX. Let us be in prayer. This is a growing concern here in New Mexico. Call it whatever you want, but it is a crisis, whether Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham wants to admit it or not.
The Gospel Rescue Mission and the Community of Hope reached capacity by Friday. Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter– when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Isiah 58:7
Let us all be in prayer…….seek Jesus for the answers….
