In Whom Do We Put Our Hope And Confidence?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I was thinking about my first mentor, Julie. This dear lady would always open her home and her heart to me when I was going through a difficult time. She would read the Word of God to me when I wasn’t strong enough to read it for myself. She is one of the most amazing women I know. She soon will turn 90 years of age. She would often say to me, Jesus is all you need. Keep looking up Angel your help is on the way. She helped me to put my trust in God and believe He would see me through my difficult circumstances.
Today let’s re-affirm to God Himself that He alone is our hope and confidence. Let’s Pray:

Father, you have been my hope, Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you. I have become a sign to many; you are my strong refuge. My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long. (Psalm 71:5-8)
Father, when man has let us down, you say forgive them, I will restore you. You rebuild the devastated places in our lives. (Isaiah 61) You tell us it is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. (Psalm 118:8)
Father, thank you for being our hope, our confidence, our comforter and our all in all. You truly are all we need. Amen
