Look Into The Eyes of Someone God Loves… Angel’s Prayer Of The Day

Look Into The Eyes of Someone God Loves…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Recently, I had the privilege of speaking on kindness, one of nine fruits of the spirit. I read just recently this saying, you will never look into the eyes of someone God does not love. Always be kind.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Teaches us that love is patient and kind.

Luke 6:35-36 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Kindness is an action. How do you show it? Webster’s tells us kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. What acts of kindness have you shown this past week? What acts of kindness have I shown this week? Could God be asking us to review this?
Sometimes, we want what we want, but is it God’s desire? Maybe, we don’t have to prove we are right. Maybe, we can let go of the past and try again. Maybe it’s ok if that person doesn’t understand. Oh God, put kindness deeper within us.

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Colossians 3:12-14 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let’s look at some people of kindness. Mother Theresa was known for her actions of kindness and love. Her life was filled with compassion and purpose. Mother Teresa is admired by millions because of her charitable work and the lives she touched. Some of her views were controversial, but no one can deny the power of her words and actions!
Here are some of the quotes she is remembered for. If you judge people, you have no time to love them. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. Live simply so others may simply live. Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts. I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things. Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person. I try to give to the poor people for love what the rich could get for money. No, I wouldn’t touch a leper for a thousand pounds; yet I willingly cure him for the love of God. It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters. Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.

Evangelist Billy Graham another notable person. An Evangelist to the world. He tells us kindness is an essential part of Gods work and ours here on earth. In the book of John we read about the Sarmatian woman. (John 4:4-26) Jesus showed her compassion and kindness. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for the fruit of the spirit kindness. When we look into the eyes of someone you love, oh God, remind us Holy Spirit to be kind. No matter what they have done or who they are they, we will offer the fruit of the spirit kindness.

Father, thank you for opportunities to show acts of kindness today. We won’t let our left hand know what our right hand is doing. Just as you asked the Samaritan woman for a drink of water, may we give from our well that never runs dry, because you continually fill us to overflowing of living waters. Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Read John 4:4-26 today.
