Wildfire near Portales and Floyd, New Mexico
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for parts of New Mexico Wednesday.
The temporary warning indicates the potential of a dangerous combination of wind, temperatures, relative humidity, and fuel or drought conditions that could spark fires.

Joe Diaz of KOAT TV in Albuquerque posted this last night: Places like Albuquerque & Santa Fe are now upgraded to a High Wind Warning for Wednesday! Winds could gust 55 to 75 mph across much of New Mexico creating damaging winds, blowing dust and dangerous crosswinds. Be alert and stay inside as much as possible!
