Prayer is the Work of the Heart, by Karen Rowe

Good day dear friends,

No matter where you are today, you are dealing with something that has to do with a relationship.  The one thing we can’t teach, give or wish for (for ourselves), or (for anyone) is a new heart, but we can receive a new heart through and by Jesus.  And, then, we can really begin to live with God … & pray for each other.

Jesus gives us a new heart.  After we learn about God’s Grace and Mercy that is for us, we can believe!  Once we believe, we can receive the spirit of Jesus in us; and even experience God with us; or distant to us, YET, we can’t talk someone to Grace.  We Come to Grace.

But we can pray them (help them) there!  It begins with our heart dedicated to Jesus … a pure heart in Christ can ask God to do what we can’t do for ourselves; nor for others, but the Spirit of Jesus can!

Just a quick introduction today; and as you read through this devotion to God’s Holy Word, listen to what God is speaking to your heart.  I am sharing what God spoke to mine.

Friends, when we feel helpless, we can pray!  And, when you receive this, you will never be the same!

We must pray for each other!  And, as far as it depends on me, as Kelly posted today right here @ FGGAM, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God, and obey (keep) it (Luke 11:28).”

Daily Devotion to God’s Holy Word.

Prayer is the Work of the Heart, by Karen Rowe

What does it feel like to know and believe in the love God has for you?
To me, like the beauty and majesty and power and strength in boat that has the ability to carry us across the water, float in the tranquility of a sunrise, sunset, mid-day and midnight cruise … IF ONLY we use our faith to launch it in the water!
The roar of the engine makes something soar inside of our being. That is the place Jesus lives in us who believe!
I pray this inspires you to seek Jesus to know Him in a way that you have never known God before!
To come alive, Jesus will lift your spirit to God.
God is The River of Grace! And Jesus is the Way, The Truth and the Life.
God’s desire is for you!
God’s desire is to be with you.
God’s desire is to live in you, so that you can live like someone died for you.
Because … Jesus did.

In this study this morning, Revelation Chapter 4.  Revelations is a Revelation of Christ Jesus, Our Lord; and the Spirit of the Lord sent me to ask, what are the Seven Spirits of God? Rev. 4:VS 5

The Spirit of Jesus is our Helper: The Holy Spirit of God.

Do you know that there are many spirits in this world? The Bible tells us, “beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world (1 John 4:1 KJV).”

God cares for you!
The focus Verse of Today is,

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for THOU HAST CREATED ALL THINGS, and FOR THY PLEASURE they ARE and WERE created (Revelation 4:11 KJV).”

My Devotion was lead to grow in the area of prayer! Because the one thing we can’t do is create a new heart, but Jesus can! Jesus gives us God’s heart! And God knows what is good for us, like one might know how to best care for something special to us, like our pet we Love, plant we grow, anything that we love and take responsibility for & have authority over, because without us, it would NOT make it well.

So focus to …God is for us! He knows every detail about us!

God took time and pleasure in Creating us so we could give him glory.
I pray that we can all see that our lives are precious to Him and not allow the enemy to steal our identity.
We never have to wonder what God thinks about us because His Word tells us.
It also warns us of satan’s plan to devour us. So the dust he stirs up while running rampant isn’t our identity but what God says is!
We, in Christ Jesus, are his sons and daughters. We are loved and precious to Him.
This is why He tells us to be vigilant and sober so we know what’s is from Him.
We were created to give Him glory and that’s why it’s important to know YOU MATTER!!!

TO INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. AND THEY that are Christ’s HAVE crucified the flesh with the affections AND lusts. If we LIVE IN the Spirit, let us ALSO WALK IN the Spirit. Let us NOT be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Galatians 5:22‭-‬26 KJV

TO INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: SO THAT ye cannot do the things THAT ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now THE WORKS OF THE flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
Galatians 5:16‭-‬21 KJV

Realize that you were a pleasure for God to Create and you exist because he created you.

Realize that you were a pleasure for God to Create and you exist because he created you.

We should ask ourselves what kind of relationship has He been wanting to have with us.

…”So we TRY to be good so that He can be good back to us. That’s so wrong.
We completely forget that it’s not just about us and what we need, what we don’t have, what we should have. It’s about Him and us.
Our relationship with Him.
We should approach God with reverence and with love. We should ask ourselves what kind of relationship has He been wanting to have with us.
Our eyes should always look up first before looking at ourselves. So that when we do look at ourselves after first looking up, we’ll find Him looking right back at us. We will see Him in us and find ourselves glorifying His Holy Name.”

Isn’t that good news?  Jesus is the Good News.

Will you grab your Bible and open to The Prayer written for us to pray in Ephesians Chapter 1?  Open to Verses 16-19 and pray over someone today.

Ephesians 1:16-19 (NIV)
16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, SO THAT you may know him better.
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,
19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength.

God is waiting on us to do

the “work of the heart”!!!

People NEED prayers!

Is the Fruit of the Spirit Active? or Inactive?

Prayer is the work of the heart … Fruit will come!

If we only knew what was happening when we pray, we would never cease to pray!

If only we knew what was happening when we pray, we would never cease to pray.

This is how I believe the Spirit of the Living Lord Jesus gave this to me to give to you.  I pray this is a blessing to you as well as it is to me.

May we live like someone died for us.

Jesus loves you!  May we live like someone died for us.  Jesus, we thank you for going beyond the grave to continue to help us know and believe and grow in our relationship with our God and Father.  Thank you Jesus.  We love you God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit.  Help us in our understanding.

Love in Christ,

Karen Rowe
