Who Is The Maker Of Your Dreams?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was watching my grandchildren a few days ago. My three year old granddaughter likes to play dress up and she likes to put make-up on. Her princess dress up costume she wears over her jeans makes me want to laugh at the memory this early morning. Children are such a delight. I ponder in my mind what she is dreaming of in her future. Prayerfully, she will keep stepping towards it.

I ponder this morning when the fear comes in our lives to step out as adults. We get comfortable in our daily routines and we can’t see how it will all work out. God’s Word tells us in Romans 8:28  we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. He is the one that puts the dreams in our hearts in the first place.

I look at the sign in my kitchen once again this morning as I prepare for another step. It reads In the end we only regret the chance we didn’t take. Sometimes, I want to run back to the familiar, but I know that isn’t the answer. We must all keep stepping towards our God given dreams and destiny. We must walk through the open doors and allow the closed doors to remain closed. We must trust God in the journey. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you are the maker of our dreams. Thank you for closing the doors that need to be closed and opening the doors that need to be opened. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 16:9 In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. Father, continue to order our footsteps according to your will, we pray.

Father, thank you that fear has no hold on us. 1 John 4:18 tells us There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. Thank you for your amazing love and tender care.

Father, because the Sovereign LORD helps us, we will not be disgraced. Therefore, we  have set our face like flint, and we know we will not be put to shame. (Isaiah 50:7). Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Fear not and keep stepping towards your God given dreams. He loves you!
