50 New Mexico State Police officers are assigned to “targeted areas” in Albuquerque to help reduce violent crime. In a dozen days, 257 people have been arrested. State Police Report
APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said APD currently has 957 officers on the force. He expects the number to hit 1,000 by the end of the year. KOB:APD Nearing 1,000 Officers
