Earlier this month Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham sent 50 State Police Officers to Albuquerque to help fight violent crime. A rural New Mexico Sheriff says taking away the State Police from his County and the Governor pulling National Guard Troops from the border has put him and his county in a tough spot. The Albuquerque Journal reports: A private in New Mexico chose a section of border land owned by American Eagle Brick Co. for the first project. Construction crews began work on the half-mile bollard-style structure Saturday and expected to finish in five days.
