Scholars say Scripture reminds us not to be afraid…365 times! Evidently the Lord knows our nature is to worry & be fearful, because that’s once for every day of the year! Here, God goes well beyond instructing us not to fear. We are told to be strong & courageous. That’s a big step up from simply not being afraid; & it’s not just a suggestion…it’s a command. Realizing that the Holy Spirit is actually living inside us, gives us boldness & courage beyond our imagination! Be encouraged! Speak the truth in love, as we fearlessly share the Good News of Jesus in this frightening world.
