“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” – Revelation 2:29
For those of us who have access to the Word of God in written form, in a language we can understand and the ability to read it with comprehension, it is a great blessing and privilege indeed. However, a large percentage of the world’s population, even today, do not have access to the Scriptures. Many who have access to Scripture do not read or know it.
Thousands all over the world were able to hear the Bible in their heart languages this past weekend by way of a digital audio device called a Proclaimer. It is a solar powered unit equipped with the Bible in the New Testament with up to four indigenous languages. These audio Bibles are for people who are primarily oral learners and may not have ever heard the Gospel in their native languages.
In partnership with Faith Comes By Hearing we are sending Proclaimers free of charge to faithful evangelists, pastors and teachers who work in many of the remote villages in southwest Nigeria (purple area on map below).
By God’s marvelous grace we have been enabled to send in sixty-three Proclaimers to “workers in His harvest fields” (Matthew 9:37-38). Twenty-two more are in the production stage for delivery in July and we are submitting another order this week for thirty-five for delivery in August. That’s a total of one hundred and twenty. Our goal is two hundred by the end of the year. God, you are amazing!
Thank you for your prayers. Maranatha!
