Faith, Hope and Encouraging Word By Jeanne Theriault

Trusting in God    By Jeanne Theriault

Noah trusted God, so he built an ark

Abraham trusted God, so he set out to go to an unknown land

David trusted God, and he confronted Goliath

Joseph trusted God, so he took Mary as his wife

Paul trusted God, so he traveled to the mission field

What are you trusting God for?

Every time God speaks there is an action response from his people.

Lets look at Noah, a man who walked with God, he knew who God was  and God  spoke to him and told him to built an ark. Noah did not look at the situation around him, though he knew he was in the desert. He obeyed God and built the ark. God saved him and his family.

When you learn to obey his word concerning your life he fulfills his promise

Jeremiah 7:23 I gave you this commandment obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you that it may go well with you.

Never look at the situation but look to God in his word about your situation and I guarantee he will come through  for you . God watches over his children, he will never abandoned you.

Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

God speaks through his word, through your prayers, seeking his face and meditating on his promises, and waiting on him. These people trusted God for there life, and God came through.  God can do the same for you today. Trusting in God will be proven by your action, on how you respond to your situation.   Do you fear, doubt, but totally trust God. This  is when you have to fully put your faith in Him. It is a command that he has given you.

Mark 11:22 Have faith in God.

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Never doubt God’s word

Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safety.

Trusting in God simply means to surrender all to him, Each day you must lay aside your plans and know who you are in Christ his ways are higher than your ways. When you put God first in your life he will be faithful to his word.

Proverbs 16:9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God did it for Noah, Abraham and David he will do it for you.
