NM Governor Lujan Grisham has fired Karen Trujillo as New Mexico’s public education secretary. Trujillo was fired from the high-profile job Monday for not meeting expectations.
The former classroom teacher and longtime education researcher from Las Cruces, was appointed by Lujan Grisham in January.
