Welcome to the House of Hope Radio Ministry program!!!

It is great to be with you on this Sunday morning!

I want to share with you this morning about the love of God based on 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.

First Corinthians is probably the most widely quoted passage in the world on the subject of love. Verse 13 says, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

We recognize that Jesus demonstrated sacrificial love for us by dying for our sins, making possible our forgiveness and restoring us to fellowship with the Father. Yet we often fail to realize that Christ’s love goes on even beyond the cross.

Everything about us hinges on love because God, who is love, created us in His image. 1 John 4:8,16.

Our most important dwelling place is not our home, but the dwelling place of God’s love.

“My beloved friend, keep your hand in that of the Master, walk daily by His side, so that you may lead others into the realms of true happiness,
where a religion of hate, (which poisons both body and soul) will be unknown, having in its place the ‘Golden Rule’ way, which is the ‘Jesus Way’ of life, will reign supreme …”
wrote George Washington Carver to Jack Boyd, a YMCA official in Denver, March 1, 1927.

Scripture teaches that popularity with the world means death. Satan’s most effective tool is conformity and compromise. He is aware that one man standing in the midst of a secular people can move them in the direction of God, or away from Him. From compromise to deceit is a small step.

God’s people are called to live for Him without compromise.
