I found this article interesting, I thought you might also. I am very concerned about the future of small town America, the Churches like in Reserve, New Mexico, Quamado, New Mexico etc….what will rural New Mexico look like in 10 years? The “farm system” or “feeder system” or whatever you want to call it, is shrinking…..we are not filling the gap in not only rural New Mexico, but in America.
What do you think this means for the future of the Church in America? Rural America is losing its children to the big cities.
What percentage of children in America will be raised up in the Church? Church attendance continues to drop in America….will it continue to decline?
The responsibility of the Church is great….we must carry out the Great Commission!
Side note to this…there is a Doctor in Albuquerque who will now not see people over the age of 60. Some Doctors to not want to bother with the ills of the elderly. What does all this mean?
Much to pray about for America, never have seen my country in such a mess, so divided, so much hate…….JESUS is the only answer.
There are now more people over age 65 than under 5. Here’s what that means.
People are living longer and having fewer kids, presenting new challenges and opportunities.
