No Quarrelling, Did You Ask?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. God tells us in James 4:2 you desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
When my kids were small, they would argue and want their own way. All three wanted what they wanted. They would run to get in the car first, yelling all the way called it, as they were desiring the front seat. My youngest daughters famous words were no fair as she struggled to keep up with her sisters. There were many times in my own life I was last, overlooked and felt left out. Actually, I was in a service recently and the preacher called me forward and said just those words as he prayed for me. God’s Words tells us many who are first will be last, and the last will be first. (Matthew 19:30) Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that there is no competition in the kingdom. You are sovereign and it is you, oh God who judges: you bring one down, you exalt another. (Psalm 75:7) Father, we pray you can trust us with much as we work in your kingdom. We offer up our lives to you today and ask you to position us where we need to be.
Father, thank you that because of your great love for us, we can trust that you know what is best. Protect us from those that’s heart motives are different, we pray. We want to positioned by our King. Whether we are first or last, we leave that up to you. Amen
