Well, I guess this was bound to happen….I do not know of this happening before, a foreign country advising against travel to American Cities! Also making the travel warning list are Baltimore and Detroit KOB TV REPORT
From April of 2019:
Safewise reports:
Big cities and safety have more in common than you might think. Metro counties and cities with populations between 250,000 and 500,000 showed the biggest drop in violent crime between 2016 and 2017—and cities with one million or more residents had the next-biggest decline.
But it’s not all good news. We’ve also broken down the most dangerous metro areas, where violent crime rates are nearly four times higher than the national average.
- Albuquerque moved up from 12th place last year to take the eighth spot on the most dangerous list.

- My post from this past week…..
- What is Albuquerque to do?I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26I said to our mail carrier Kris that I pray the post office shuts down for at least a day to honor the life Jose “Pepe” Hernandez. Albuquerque needs to pause and reflect on the hell that has broken loose in the city. We need to pause and repent for our sins of killing babies in the city for years through abortion. We need to repent of all sins. We need to seek the face of Jesus. There is no end in sight to this evil at this time, Satan is having a hay day in Albuquerque. The Feds take over the case of the murder of Jose ABQ Journal Report
My post from yesterday:
At this time we are in mourning for the family of Jose “Pepe” Hernandez. Jose, a long-time mail carrier was shot to death by a teenager in Albuquerque this week.
Why is the World full of evil?
“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.
The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.
Read below the report on teenage violence in Albuquerque.
Teen arrested in the murder of Jose……
2019 is turning out to be a year of extreme violence in Albuquerque! The City is unsafe. Crime does not have a zip code, even VIOLENT CRIME!
We are in prayer over this horrific tragedy. We mourn for the Hernandez family, friends and co-workers.
The teen faces an open count of murder in the death of 47-year-old Jose Hernandez, a longtime mail carrier.
Tribune Content Agency What does the nature of sin mean?
Apr 25, 2019
From the writings of the Rev. Billy GrahamQ: What does the nature of sin mean? — S.N.A: The notion of sin and the nature of sin have been debated from the beginning of time, and that debate continues today. Sin presents itself in the mind, manifests itself in word and deed, and is hidden in the heart of everyone. It will overtake the man and women who refuse to believe it will conquer them. The Bible says that the whole world is a prisoner of sin. Sin has crippled human nature, but God has provided the cure. There is no sin that the blood of Jesus Christ cannot cleanse. And that’s good news indeed for a culture that still doesn’t know what to do with sin. All the distress, bitterness, heartache, shame and tragedy can be summed up in the three-letter word: Sin. Its meaning — to fall short of God’s standard and to do contrary to God’s law — has an impact on every soul and overflows the boundaries of the human heart.
The world’s system claims that the notion of sin is old-fashioned. People “in” the world prove that claim erroneous. A national newspaper quoted a sociologist who admitted, “Secular people still believe there’s sin, judgment and punishment.” Sin is definitely “in” and it is “in” every single heart that beats.
Talking about sin does not make someone a sinner. The truth is that everyone is born in sin. While some may not think of themselves as sinners, God does. He hears every word we utter; He knows the hidden things. The Bible says that God “knows the secrets of the heart” (Psalm 44:21). But He loves sinners more than we love sin. There is no greater love than what Jesus offers every person ever born.

A Calling for a National Week of Mourning…….
I have been praying that a call for a ‘week of mourning’ in the United States would be called by our leaders….I have heard nothing. National Day of Mourning? I had a wise woman tell me, “Men have forgotten how to cry.”
We need to mourn, weep, repent, to reflect on our sins as a nation, we need to seek the face of Jesus and ask for forgiveness.
Have we become so numb here in America, so out of touch with God, that we cannot weep and mourn?
Are we going to let politics define who we are? Are we going to be defined by God? Are we going to become once again a Godly nation? Are we going to continue our path into darkness?
I feel so sad that many in the Body of Christ feel that politics is the way out of this darkness in America, many Pastors are doing the same! Politics is not the answer, GOD is the answer. GOD rules over everything! It is foolish behavior to put politics over GOD! One of the main reasons we are a morally corrupt nation, is politics. Politicians are not GOD, they spew ‘nothing noise’ 24/7.
Mark my word, if we as a nation continue to politicize everything, we are done.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:4
Are these shootings just another expected tragedy every month in America? Is it becoming a part of the everyday life here?
Are these massacres becoming part of the fabric of America?
Last night as we prayed after our doubleheader, the man praying from the other team pleaded, “Lord help us, we have become such a corrupt nation, help us.”
Amen to that!
Kelly Snelgrove posted this today at FGGAM:
The law of the LORD is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The precepts of the LORD are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the LORD are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the LORD are firm,
and all of them are righteous.
They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
Psalm 19:7-11
In many more ways than one, this tragedy has touched many lives here in New Mexico and all over the world. I have many friends from El Paso, or who have lived there.
We just got news of a lovely lady from Santa Fe, NM that was killed in the El Paso shootings. ABQ Journal Story

July 19, 2019 Report:
Albuquerque crime rate continues to drop……..which does not mean much to many who have been and will be victims of crime in the City. Murder and violent crime are still at a very disturbing rate.
It is good news for all of us that live in Albuquerque that crime is on a downward trend. But as Police Chief Mike Geier duly noted, there is lots of work that remains to be done. I love this Chief, he seems genuine and very honest.
What we do need is leaders in this state to stop their drinking and behaving badly and thinking they are above the law! Remember Governor Martinez’s pizza party????? State Senator Richard Martinez is one who appears to think he is above the law after being arrested for drunk driving! We need role models!
Video of Senator Richard Martinez pleading with Police
This makes the push to legalize marijuana by the Governor even more serious, we cannot have pot heads stoned to the hills driving in this state, drunk driving is enough of a big problem in New Mexico! Another thing that bothers me greatly is that Martinez seems not to care about the people injured in the accident! ENOUGH NEW MEXICO! If you want to be a great state…act like one!
We are praying for Senator Martinez and those involved in the accident.
