A Chosen Destiny…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday, I received a call from a friend needing some answers. I quickly came to her side to pray. We sought the Lord together,  but did not come up with the answers she needed. I called a friend from across the globe and asked for help. The three of us began to intercede for the situation. Together, we felt a need for her to fast and pray for the answer. This life changing decision would need to be between her and God. She was not to look to man for the answer, but to God and God alone.

My friend decided to fast from social media, phone and shut herself in with God for a few days. This life changing decision will chart the course of her life. She is a woman full of destiny.

This morning, I remind myself of the same lesson. To close myself in with the Creator of the Universe to find out every answer we need. Man’s opinions is just that-an opinion. Even the best meaning friends can be wrong at times. Let’s commit to God today once again, that we give him full control of our ship. Let’s commit today to seek him first and believe him for his perfect will. He is our father, but yet he calls us friend. He is the best friend we will ever meet and he carries the answers to our God given destinies. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for that you call us friend. You are closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24) Forgive us God when we call on friends, we put others first before seeking you. Father, we ask you once again to steer our ship right to our God given destiny. Even though at times, we are sailing in the dark, we know your course is always the best one.

All knowing Father, lead us today and every day by those still waters. We won’t choose the way of anxiousness, but will choose to put all our trust in you and you alone. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. He calls you friend. Get to know him better today. Shut yourself in with him and believe.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
