A Prayer for the Moedes and FGGAM

My wife and I spent the month of August traveling by car across much of America, traveling over 6,000 miles. We had the joy of visiting family and friends in ministry in many states. It all was more than I had hoped for. One of the great experiences was to stop in Albuquerque to see a friend and fellow minister whom I had never met in person, but first heard about from my son, Chris. In those days they had connected through working in radio.   Some years after, I had connected with Dewey Moede on Facebook. In 2015, I was asked to write for FGGAM. We had communicated in just about every way, except face to face.   There I was sitting across the table at Cracker Barrel sharing breakfast, love, conversation, and prayer with the man of God, Brother Dewey.   That was a great day!   I offer this prayer for Dewey, Sharon, family, and FGGAM:

LORD God, our Heavenly Father, I pray for the Moede family.   I ask that You overpower with Your light and love upon them, Dewey, Sharon, their kids, and their pups.  Give to them Your strength to rise above all of the difficulties, health and otherwise, that they are now coping with, and protect them against any problems in the future. LORD, please draw them ever stronger together as You meant them to be.  May the love that binds the Moedes only grow deeper as they execute the course and desires You have laid out for each individual and the family.

Protect them LORD Jesus; deliver them from the evil one, his demons, and all persons that try to hinder their way.  Do not permit the ways of the devil to blind their eyes.  I know that You are for the Deweys, so that no one could ever stop them or FGGAM from accomplishing Your will.

Precious LORD, I want to thank You for this precious family and FGGAM; for their talents, influence, and good things that You have given each of us through them.

Bless the efforts of all who work with and through For God’s Glory Alone Ministries (FGGAM).  Stay close to this work always.  Please give them all the strength and finances needed, and grant them steady improvement, while enlarging their effective borders.  Grant them confidence that You do all things well.  May Your influence through family and ministry result in souls saved, and souls grown in faith, to the ends of the earth, to Your glory in the name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen!
