Praying In A Solitary Place

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning while it was still dark, Jesus got up left the house and went of to a solitary place where he prayed.

Sometime we need to find a solitary place to pray to the Father spending time with him. He longs for us to take time and commune  with  Him. Jesus spent time in prayer with the Father he had fellowship with him. The Father would speak to him, taught him just like God wants to do the same for his children .

Prayer is coming into union with God’s mind and his heart God showed Jesus everything.

John 5:19-20 I tell you the truth the Son can do nothing by himself he can only do what he see’s the Father doing because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father love the Son and shows him all he does.

John 12:49 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say

Now think about this, Jesus could not do anything by himself , His Father would show him what to do and say because he loved him.

When we send time with God he will reveal himself to us in what he wants us to say and  do

John 12:50 So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say

1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves he should do it with the strength of God provides so that in all things God maybe praised through Jesus Christ to him be the glory and power for ever and ever Amen.

We need to understand that Jesus commune with the  Father and the only way to be able to hear God voice is to spend time with him in prayer.

Jesus is a reflection of his Father  9John 5:17-19)

We need to be a reflection of Jesus (Ephesians 4:24)

Jesus is dependent on his Father (John 5:19)

We need to be dependent on Jesus  (Psalm 62:5-12)

The Father allows Jesus to see himself at work (John 2:24)

We need to allow ourselves to see Jesus at work in our lives (John 14:12-14)

Jesus had faith in his Father’s love for him (John 5:20)

We need to have faith in Jesus ‘s love for us  ( 1 John 3:1)

Jesus trust and had confidence in his Father  ( John 5:20)

We need to  trust Jesus with confidence ( Jeremiah ( 17:7-8)

We must be willing to confess our sins. We must admit our weaknesses, our failures. It is through our confession and prayer that we position ourselves to live righteous lives to see answers to our prayers.

When we pray earnestly and fervently, we must not give up. We must continually come before the Father asking him he hears and knows our very need, We must have an attitude of expectation believing that He is willing to answer our prayers.

God is faithful He is able to do far more than we cold ever ask or imagine. All He wants is for us to spend time with him
